In 1989 I was 16 years old in search for my 1st summer job. After disappointment in my search with both wages and hours I began to look into starting my own business. After a great deal of thought I started my 1st business as a window washer. I’d clean summers, weekends and evenings in neighborhoods in Spokane, WA.
That same year I was asked by one of my clients if I would be interested in cleaning some carpets in a rental home. I quickly jumped on the opportunity and rented a machine from the local drug store. The client was very pleased with the results, so I started offering carpet cleaning to my list of services.
At 18 I took my business on fulltime. I bought a commercial portable carpet cleaning machine. At this point I was cleaning carpets for one of the largest Property Management services in Spokane. Window cleaning kept me very busy.
At age 21 I bought my 1st new van and truck mounted carpet cleaning machine. I then enrolled in certification classes and took my carpet cleaning services to the next level. I really started marketing myself and building a reputation of quality service. I was cleaning many commercial locations, still working for one of the largest property management companies in the area and building an impressive residential client list.
2001 I sold my business in Spokane and relocated to Snohomish County. I began building a business focused primarily on residential carpet cleaning. I really enjoy the residential setting. I enjoy dealing with the issues presented by families with children and pets.
I have some of the greatest clients in all of Snohomish and King County. I still work for my 1st client I earned in 2001 today.
